A townhouse that opens onto the garden
In the heart of Nancy, Mr. and Mrs. Fabregue wanted additional space to extend their townhouse and make better use of their garden. The challenge: to extend their house without altering it, while creating a living space of over 20m2 that's bright and pleasant, summer and winter alike.
This project, halfway between a veranda and a contemporary extension, was entrusted to Verand'Art Création, a Lorraine-based specialist in custom aluminum joinery.

Installux Aluminium solutions at the heart of the project
The extension is built around Installux aluminum joinery, chosen for its design, technical features and comfort of use:
- Galaxie® 26TH sliding window - in a center-opening 2-leaf monorail version, for a fluid transition between interior and exterior.
- Sliding Galaxie® 26TH - 2-leaf side-opening, to maximize light and ventilation.
- Comète® 70TH+ door - enclosed, giving access to the closed garage.
And a roof-mounted skylight for light and design, while limiting heat loss. And a high-performance fixed frame in the laundry room.
All available in a RAL 7016 Mat Givré finish, for a contemporary, understated aesthetic that blends perfectly with the existing building, and with the garage refurbishment also carried out by Vérand'art.
A bright and friendly living room
This 20 m² extension now transforms the owners' home.
They have installed a warm dining room, centered around a billiard table: a nod to Lorraine conviviality and the spirit of the house!
Thanks to Installux's wide openings, natural light floods the space and extends the view out to the garden, creating a unique "inside-outside" atmosphere in every season.
