Compression sliding window/door
A compression sliding window/door for unparalleled tightness
A sliding system known as "compression" is a sliding system where the seal relies not solely on the sliding of the sashes but on pressing the openings against the gaskets when closed.
During the closing operation, the sash moves against the frame (often through a motion of translation followed by compression), which greatly improves air, water, and noise tightness compared to a traditional sliding system.
This type of system thus combines the comfort of use of the sliding system with performances close to those of a casement window.
