Univers® 60 curtain wall

Product benefits
A curtain wall with seismic resistance for large-scale projects!
With its Univers® 60 concept, INSTALLUX continues to develop technical and conceptual expertise to construct all types of facades over many years.
The Univers® 60 range offers the following advantages:
- Seismic resistance tested by CEBTP, ideal for high-risk areas
- Capability to create glazing up to 7 meters in semi-perimeter
- The curtain wall system allows glazing up to 46 mm thick
- Significant increase in precision and speed during machining thanks to a new tool with mobile and pneumatic stops
- Impact block with integrated sealing
- Completion of all types of projects with adequate draining thanks to the two assembly modes:
- Pressure plate: option to use an additional block to avoid machining on the transom. Draining is done in cascade along the mullions thanks to specific transoms.
- Structural glazing: draining is carried out through the cover profiles.
- Univers® 60 offers the choice between two installation techniques: advancing or facing, depending on the project configuration.
Finally, it's possible to integrate an Italian-style SSG and parallel SSG opener. Initial type tests have been carried out with the Italian and parallel opener to achieve CE marking for the complete curtain wall. INSTALLUX thus ensures the full compliance of its facades with community requirements and current standards.
Implementation of XL Glazing
- Up to 12m² of surface (7m half-perimeter)
- Supports a load up to 750 kg per transom
- Possibility to integrate shadow pods (mask technical parts)
Seismic resistance tested by CEBTP
- Parallelogramming: maximum phase reached (phase 6)
- Excitation test: maximum phase reached (phase 8)
System ease
- Pressure plate: percutant block with integrated sealing
- Structural glazing: mounted block to avoid shoulder (option)
Optimisation of productivity
- Tool with 8 adjustable and pneumatic stops (precision gain)

Shadow pod
This solution allows enhanced aesthetics of the full parts of the facades :
- More design possibilities
- Improved aesthetics of the full parts : allows concealment of technical parts
- Integrated ventilation to limit overheating
Italian-style opening
- Glazing from 18 to 44 mm
- Thermal performance: Uf 1.6
- Maximum height: 1750 mm
- Squared opening profiles in continuity with the frame
- Installation facilitated by the frame stop
- Powder-coating possible for handles
Parallel opener
- Glazing from 18 to 44 mm
- Thermal performance: Uf 1.6
- Maximum height: 1750 mm
- Square sash profiles continuous with the frame
- Easy installation with the frame stop
- Powder-coating of handles possible
Cover profiles and ES on demand
INSTALLUX offers you the creation of custom spines and cover profiles to meet the technical or design constraints of your projects. This collaboration can be completed quickly thanks to the integration of our extrusion and powder-coating entities within the INSTALLUX GROUP.
- Supply optimisation by adapting the profiles and cover profiles to demand (specific lengths and inertia for the project)
